INR 4,17,600. The probation period for the constable will be 3 years. The salary, tips and
bonuses depend upon the employee reports and work.
Selection Process for the Punjab Police Constable Recruitment 2024
- Written Test- This test is a common computer based test consisting of multiple choice
questions. Written tests will be done to check the candidates knowledge and aptitude.
Candidates are required to score minimum 35% to 40% marks in paper-I and 50% marks
in paper-II. Candidates who fail to secure at least 50% marks in paper-II will be
disqualified irrespective of paper-I. There shall be no negative marking. - Physical Screening Test- This test is also known as Measurement Test. Candidates
need to clear both the Physical Screening test and Physical Measurement test. This test
is done just after the written test. Candidates who will clear the written test are required
to give physical fitness tests and training. The Physical Screening test includes Running,
Long Jump, High Jump and Height Measurement.
